I love Gregg’s as much as the next person but this is definitely worth the splurge once in a while to taste what a sausage roll is truly meant to taste like. The pistachio scroll was also delicious, the pastry itself was a little bit dry but I went close to closing so it had been out for a while, the cream inside was fantastic. Wish I lived close by so I could try more things 😭

Read more it a mission to find the best vegan sausage roll so Arapina was at the top of our list to try - it’s a primarily vegan cafe (also includes several vegetarian options) and also includes lots of other dietary options like gluten free, sugar free, and nut free! It’s off the beaten path in a quiet residential part of Greenwich. Great atmosphere in the cafe, there’s WiFi and nice tables to work at if you wanted to bring a computer or book!We vegan options we tried were the vegan sausage roll (of course) as well as the pasty and then the mushroom / leek filled croissant! The food was delicious but they used to much olive oil and we had to use napkins to try and soak it up to be able to eat it.
