Arapina Bakery was founded by Michaela Pontiki, a vegan and free-from baker driven by a love of flavour, community, and honest food. Inspired by her Mediterranean heritage and a family culture rooted in sharing meals, Michaela set out to prove that plant-based and free-from baking could be joyful, indulgent, and deeply satisfying - without compromise.

Born in London in 2013, Arapina Bakery began as a response to the lack of truly delicious vegan and gluten-free baked goods. What started at local markets quickly grew into an award-winning bakery known for handcrafted pastries, cakes, and breads made with care and creativity. Today, Arapina delivers plant-based joy beyond the bakery doors through curated subscription boxes, bringing inclusive baking to homes across the UK.
